Heartland Tops Final Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA DII Coaches Poll of 2025-26
NORMAN, Okla. – With top-three finishes in 11 of their 12 of their tournaments this season and six victories, including the NJCAA Region 24 Championship by 20 strokes on April 28, Heartland is No. 1 for the fourth consecutive Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA DII Coaches Poll. The Hawks received two first-place votes and 86 points on May 8, six more than Mississippi Gulf Coast (four first-place votes and 80 points).
South Mountain (two first-place votes), Kirkwood (one first-place vote), and Northeast (NE) rounded out the top five, while Murray State (OK) (one first-place vote), Shelton State, Walters State, Black Hawk, and Meridian completed the ranking.
Southeast (NE), Des Moines Area, Jefferson State, Calhoun, North Central Missouri, and Roane State also received votes.
